This Blog is about getting more traffic and business to NotaryBids.com and our notaries. On February 26th, 2008 I started working with an SEO/SEM (Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing) company called Vertical Measures (www.VerticalMeasures.com). Their specialty is link building and web site publicity services. Quality link building is simply the most important activity you can undertake to get higher search engine rankings! I have met the owner and spoke to him at length and I am very impressed with their methodologies! I guess you could call this information “secret” but it’s all available on the Internet. You just have to know where to find it and what actually works and what doesn’t. I won’t be giving away all the secrets but I will be sharing enough information where you may want to stop back by from time to time. In addition, you also have to know what NOT to do because there are some shady tactics out there commonly referred to as “Black Hat” (super shady) and Grey Hat (Questionable) that may get you removed from Google’s index or possibly Yahoo. OUCH! As I learn more about SEO/SEM I will be applying what I am learning to NotaryBids.com. My goal is to get NotaryBids.com to appear on the first page of Google when certain keywords or key phrases releated to the mobile notary and notary signing agent industry are searched for. Natural or “organic” (not paid) top ranked search results placement are proven to be the most valuable for any business. This blog is to document and publish the effort and results. I’m sharing this information with anyone that wants to read it and I hope you find it beneficial.
